2006 veröffentlichte Bruce Springsteen ein Album mit traditionellen Folk- und Gospelsongs. Er scharte eine ganze Reihe namhafter Studiomusiker um sich und ging auf Tour. Das erste Konzert fand am 20. April 2006 im Paramount Theatre, Asbury Park, NJ statt.
