“This is a collection of songs I've recorded over the years. I started writing some of these songs in 1984. Well hey! I've been busy! After recording This Time It's For Real and Hearts of Stone in the late seventies as a member of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, I learned many things from producer songwriter Little Steven but I also acquired his attention to detail and became spoiled with expensive state of the art studios. I also became sidetracked many times (thank God!) first with Bruce Springsteen's Tunnel of Love tour in 1988; a few European tours with Willie Deville; becoming a member of the Robert Cray band in 1993 and then back with the Jukes in 1996 for a few more albums and a million more shows. Sometimes you have to finish the things you start in life. Sometimes you gotta follow through!”  - Eddie Manion, 2004
